Dr. Hamidreza Ghorbani is the founder and chief executive officer of Nikan Pharmed Pharmaceutical Company. 

A pharmacy graduate with over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry nationally and internationally holds a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), and has served in numerous pharmaceutical companies making him a well-known figure in the industry.

He is a prominent figure in the human plasma industry who has collaborated with well-reputed companies such as the Iranian Blood Research and Fractionation Company (IBRF) and Biotest (Germany) for over 10 years. Before joining Nikan Pharmed, Dr. Hamid served at Darman Ara pharmaceutical company for almost 10 years both as the board member as well as the CEO which earned him tremendous experience in the plasma as well as biopharmaceutical industries.

In 2021, with the recommendation of the board of directors, he was appointed as the CEO of Nikan Pharmed to boost the company's business activities and it was after his leadership that the company gradually established itself among the top 25 importers of pharmaceutical products in Iran. During his tenure as the CEO, the company managed to increase its revenue as well as partnerships notably since its establishment.  

After achieving success in the import sector, Nikan Pharmed under his leadership further expanded its business in the field of plasma industry to overcome the needs of the local market for plasma-derived pharmaceuticals. No wonder with his immense knowledge and experience in the plasma industry, the first human plasma donation center for manufacturing Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP) with an annual capacity of 20000 liters was established in the industrial city of Qazvin, some 150 kilometers west of the Iranian Capital, Tehran.

Recently, Nikan Pharmed initiated the under-license manufacturing of some products such as foods for special medical purposes and some medical devices. Although a challenging step was taken by the management, with the strong backbone of the company, we hope to become one of the major pharmaceutical manufacturers in the near future in Iran.

The appointment of Dr. Hamid as an active member of the Iranian Syndicate of Pharmaceutical Importers as well as the Iranian Syndicate of Human Plasma Manufacturers in the year 2022 was yet another major achievement in his career which could be seen as an advantage for Nikan's growth.
