To overcome the shortage of plasma-derived biopharmaceuticals such as Human Albumin and Immunoglobulins, Nikan Pharmed has set up a Plasma Collection Center (PCC) in North Iran to manufacture about 30000 liters of human plasma (fresh frozen plasma). Construction of another 30000-liter capacity PCC is underway that will be functional by mid-2025 and which will in turn boost the total production capacity of FFP to 60000 liters by Nikan Pharmed.

Consistent with the diversification of its business, Nikan Pharmed has also stepped into the pharmaceutical manufacturing division. Foods for Special Medical Purposes (FSMPs) and some Medical Devices constitute the range of products that are being manufactured via contract manufacturing agreements.
